Prizba

Prizba is made up of several smaller bays and two peninsulas: Ratak and Priscapac. Priscapac is also a small tourist resort with all necessary tourist offers and a pebble beach. On the Ratak peninsula, in the center of Prizba is a pebble beach and a small Sisters of Mercy convent. The surroundings of Prizba have numerous vineyards and rich villas of former Korcula aristocrats, conifer forests and the beautiful small islands of Stupa, Crklica, Sridnjak and Vrhovnjak which are ideal for swimming and sunbathing.

The town has a camp, a few restaurants and cafe bars, a post office and market. The apartment resort Priscapac has a pizzeria, super market, a cafe bar and a newspaper stand. In Prizba you can rent a bike or a small motor boat for sightseeing the beautiful coastline and excursions to the nearby, uninhabited, green islands suitable for swimming, sunbathing, and fishing. All through the surroundings are numerous bike trails. We recommend bike riding along the coast from Vela Luka to Prizba and Brna. All of these roads do not have much traffic and they go through various small bays and close to interesting archeological sites which testify the rich history of the island of Korcula. Accommodation can be found in numerous comfortable and modernly furnished private houses and apartments.
